Adam Thielen contract details with the Carolina Panthers
The Carolina Panthers have signed wide receiver Adam Thielen to a 3-year contract worth $25 Million with $14 million guaranteed.

The Carolina Panthers have signed wide receiver Adam Thielen to a 3-year contract after the Panthers traded their #1 receiver DJ Moore in a trade package for the #1 overall pick at the 2023 NHL draft.

Thielen, 32, contract is worth $25,000,000 that includes a $8,335,000 signing bonus, $14,000,000 guaranteed, and an average annual salary of $8,333,333.

Thielen signed with the Minnesota Vikings as an undrafted free agent in 2013 and initially played on the team’s practice squad.

He made his NFL debut in 2014 and gradually earned more playing time as a wide receiver and special teams player. In 2016, he emerged as a breakout star for the Vikings, catching 69 passes for 967 yards and five touchdowns. He followed that up with an even more impressive season in 2017, when he caught 91 passes for 1,276 yards and four touchdowns, earning him his first Pro Bowl selection.

What are NFL fans saying about the Adam Thielen contract?

Haha what a waste. He was better off taking a pay cut and staying in Minnesota.

People acting like Panthers aren’t gonna draft or sign any other WRs, Thielen will be WR2/WR3. He still has great hands, good confidence booster for a rookie qb

Glad Thielen got paid. Can’t wait for him to come back and retire a Viking.
