Right-handed pitcher Corey Kluber and the Boston Red Sox are in agreement on a one-year contract with a club option for 2024. Kluber is expected to make $10 million guaranteed.
Kluber, 36, pitched last season with the Tampa Bay Rays where he had a 10-10 record with a 4.34 ERA and 1.21 WHIP in 164 innings.
Kluber who hales from Birmingham, Alabama was drafted by the San Diego Padres in the 4th round of the 2007 MLB draft.
