Gavin Lux injury
Los Angeles Dodgers shortstop Gavin Lux will miss the entire 2023 MLB season after suffering and ACL injury running between bases.

Los Angeles Dodgers young shortstop Gavin Lux will miss the 2023 season with a torn ACL in his right knee.

The injury happened as Lux was running between second and third base during Los Angeles’ spring game against the San Diego Padres.

Lux was drafted by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the first round (20th overall) of the 2016 MLB Draft. He is considered a top prospect in the Dodgers’ organization and is expected to continue to develop into a strong hitter and reliable defender. He has also represented the United States in international competition, winning a gold medal at the 2018 Pan American Games.

I think every baseball player’s dream is to play shortstop for the Los Angeles Dodgers said after holding back tears revealing the extend of his injury.

What are Dodger fans saying about the Gavin Lux injury?

Such a shame. Huge bummer for him and the Dodgers.

Damn! Praying for a speedy healing! Stay strong Luxy!

Why the hell was he ducking from a throw that was behind and nowhere near him that caused this horrific injury??
