MetLife Stadium which plays host to the New York Jets and New York Giants has new turf installed to help prevent injuries to NFL players.
The improved synthetic turf called FieldTurf Core system, which is the first multilayer dual-polymer monofilament fiber.
The reason MetLife Stadium does not have real grass is the harsh climate New York faces in November, December and January, grass cannot hold up in the weather conditions the field faces.
